Dancers are not required to participate in our recital. However, dancers will still be participating in classes. They will learn the routine as if they were participating in the show. It is important to us that every dancer has a positive class experience regardless of participation in the recital or not. All Classes Participating Except: Technique and Stretch

Rehearsals Prior to Show:
Dress #1: May 23rd -> In Studio: 4:00pm (Following Picture Day)
Dress #2: June 6th -> In Studio: 4:00pm
Tech: June 7th -> At Theater: times vary
Fees:
Participation Fee for all dancers: $135
- Costume Fee (per class): $90
Not included with payment: Weissman convertible tights, and genre-specific shoes. All available at GCDC.

The Opening number dance is the first routine that starts our 2024 recital.
This year it will be a Father (uncle, brother, grandpa, etc) dance!
This is a fun opportunity for everyone! Available for dancers ages 4+
What you need to know:
- Rehearsals will be on 4/27, 5/4, 5/25 and 6/1: from 12:00-1:00pm
- There is a $45 participation fee which covers the cost of rehearsals.
- Costume is make your own GC Color Party Dress!
Our closing number will be to the song "Welcome to New York" by Taylor Swift!!
It is a super fun high-energy routine open to all dancers levels 1 and up. It is designed for a mix of all ages and levels to gather together for a fun dance on stage as a great way to kick off our amazing recital! It's a really good opportunity for the younger dancers to get to work with our more experienced dancers and for our older dancers to be a leader and have another performance opportunity.
